The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman intends to present the Government's draft pension reform to members of the National Council of Reform under the President of Ukraine and further to the Parliament as well as calls on all political forces to support pension initiatives and not to make attempts to block the process of improving the welfare of citizens. This statement was issued by the Prime Minister in communication with representatives of regional mass media.

"I would like the meeting of the National Council of Reform to be held next week and after, the Government is committed to submit the draft law to the Parliament shortly. We will meet with all factions in order to enlist the support ", highlighted the Prime Minister.

He stressed that not to support the bill means to betray the interests of citizens. "What is the blueprint of the President, the Government and the coalition? We offer to adopt the said reform and to increase pensions for 9 million retirees starting already from October 1. Anyone who does not vote will halt this process. There is no need to put aside this issue for six months”, highlighted Volodymyr Groysman.

The Head of Government urged all factions and groups to be engaged in the process and to consolidate votes in order to adopt this reform. "There should be no coalition or opposition. There are people who are much waiting for solutions”, assured he.

The Prime Minister recalled that he will converse about the pension draft reform with all members of the Parliament because this issue addresses interests of Ukrainian people. «I bear full responsibility for the fact that the reform will be successful. I am in line to answer for this reform before every citizen», urged Volodymyr Groysman.
