The Ukrainian Government is to prolong the reform of key state-owned holding the Naftogaz of Ukraine, which envisages the unbundling of gas transmission operations of the company, and planning to extend the practice of corporate transformation to other state-owned companies being of strategic importance. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the meeting with heads of foreign diplomatic missions.
"The reform of the Naftogaz Ukraine is a pilot project that we are to apply further - to "Ukrzaliznytsya" and other companies”, said Volodymyr Groysman. “We will provide the triage [separation of the NJSC functions], and this, among other things, will contribute to reducing corruption in the energy sector. We are following this way".
