The international scientific-practical Conference "Tajikistan and Ukraine - 25 years of cooperation," dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between both states was held in Kyiv.

Heads of foreign diplomatic missions, scientists, representatives of ministries and departments took part in the Conference.

Participants praised the current state of bilateral cooperation, based on mutual respect and equality.

Special attention was paid to cultural and humanitarian cooperation, namely, training of Tajik students in higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Andriy Zayats expressed Ukraine’s firm intention to continue developing political dialogue and mutually beneficial practical cooperation with Tajikistan.
