  • PM calls on the Interior Ministry to provide services in the regions using Transparent Offices

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman urged those agencies responsible for the provision of administrative services in the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) to join the work of the centers of providing administrative and social services the Transparent Office. The Head of Government said during the extended meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

    "Please, analyze in synergy with heads of regional administrations, city mayors, where there are possibilities to place the centers of administrative services provision for your representative offices", stressed Volodymyr Groysman, addressing the members of regional police departments present at the meeting, in particular giving examples of the MIA and the State migration service centers.

    The Prime Minister stressed the importance to ensure proper operation of the State migration service in connection with the introduction in the near future of a visa-free regime with the EU, as well as the conclusion of the Agreement with Turkey on mutual travels of citizens with ID cards.

    "For the people who want to obtain a new passport or ID-card it must be completely available", said the Head of Government.

    Volodymyr Groysman noted that during his recent working trip to Kharkiv, under the state program he had opened 2 administrative service provision centers, where citizens can get passports, pensions and other social support, register business, solve other issues, etc. in which service provision procedures have been streamlined.

    "We have created conditions of organizational unity and must ensure this system operation throughout the country. It is important for us to avoid development of duplicative structures," he said.
