The Government is engaged in elaborating of the decision aimed to
improve road safety in Ukraine. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine
Volodymyr Groysman at the enlarged meeting of the Board of the Ministry of
Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Groysman stressed that for the last three years and three
months 12.4 thousand people died in road crashes and over 100 thousand people
were injured in accidents on roads.
" We can’t put up with
these terrible figures. Therefore I am deeply convinced that to this issue -
the safety of the roads - should be paid more attention. Special working group
is elaborating such proposals or possible legislative amendments regarding road
traffic safety which could be adopted by the Government”, underlined the Head
of Government.
“It is vitally important to ensure people remain safe on roads”,
underscored Volodymyr Groysman.
