  • Prime Minister turned to MPs - We are committed to prolong collaboration

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman thanked MPs for support and for adoption of the decision to take into consideration the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for 2016 year. This was stated by the Prime Minister after the meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, where the Government presented a report on results of Government’s yearly activities.

    “ Each of you could set out a reason why not to take into consideration the report of the Government. In fact, the aforesaid report is our joint work. We rely on the support of the Parliament regarding decisions, which can be implemented," stressed Volodymyr Groysman.

    "Despite political affiliation, fraction adherence, unfractionated, I want to express gratitude to all MPs, Chairperson of the Committee (Andrii Ivanchuk) for having taken a note of our Report," accentuated the Prime Minister.

    While communicating with press after the meeting of the Committee, the Head of Government noted that the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine had been submitted to the Parliament on February 14 and was considered by a majority the committees of the Parliament. A large number of the Committees decided to take note of the Report. The line Committee is expected to consider the Report.

    According to him, in the course of the Committee on Economic Policy meeting which was opened to the public and was attended by all members of the Government there had been observed a report, a discussion, questions, answers as well as normal constructive dialogue,

    The Report of the Government to be submitted for voting as soon as the date will be determined by the Parliament, stressed the Head of Government.” There are only to option- to take into consideration or not”. In both variants it is a just a formality which does not entail other consequences”, assured he.

    Volodymyr Groysman drew attention to the fact that during this difficult year, the Government has accumulated its own experience and has more immersed into the problems existing in the country that will provide an opportunity to achieve better results which will be envisaged in the next report.

    “I would like the Ukrainian citizens to feel the positive changes which are being elaborated by the Government”, underlined the Prime Minister.

    The Prime Minister also welcomed members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with the decision of the Committee regarding that the Government’s Report was taken into consideration "This is a positive decision - the result of your daily work. We are committed to prolong further cooperation with the Parliament".
