Volodymyr Groysman: Gov't should be open for a dialogue with citizens in order to understand pressing issues as well as to tackle issues

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman calls on the authorities to participate on a regular basis in regional call centers in order to understand the burning problems of citizens, as well as to resolve them promptly. This was announced by the Head of Government after communication with citizens in the “Government contact center”.

“It is useful for all officials and I will urge everyone to participate in such regional call centers constantly in order to understand what issues are concerning people, stressed the Head of Government - People need to understand  that with them are communicating with a purpose to solve their problems which concern them. It is not enough just to listen to a person, the main point is to understand what the problem is and what it is possible to do to solve a problem”.

"There are many questions regarding the healthcare system, pension system, a lot of social issues as well as issues related to infrastructure, even there was a question from residents of Debaltsevo who are suffering tough conditions now, underlined Volodymyr Groysman while commenting on the results of communication with the citizens in the “Government contact center”. The most crucial is to ensure consistent dialogue between officials and citizens, in order to understand the core of the problem which requires a solution, as well as to prevent noninvolvement of officials. It is vitally important”.
