The work of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine should become an example of efficient public management in companies having strategic importance for the country. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the Forum "Government under the Microscope: Yearly Results and Challenges."

"The Supervisory Board of Naftogaz has 100 percent support of the Government, but it must perform its functions of development of the state holding company. We took a decision on company’s unbundling, and today we support that. By the example of Naftogaz we should show how to manage state-owned companies", said the Head of Government.

However, Volodymyr Groysman stressed that the privatization of non-strategic SOEs is viewed timely as well, since this is the only way to attract new management, new technology and investment into such enterprises.
