
Prime Minister discussed with Organization Committee the process of preparation to the Eurovision Song Contest
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
held a meeting of the Organization Committee on preparation and hosting of the
Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
Participants of the meeting discussed the current
state of the process of preparation for the contest inter alia the readiness of
the main stage - the Kyiv International Exhibition
Center, situation
regarding the sale of tickets
to events of the contest
as well as
problematic issues which require consideration.
The Prime Minister urged to settle a question
of ticket sales as well as to inform of its stages. "The issues of
availability of tickets and the explanation when the sale starts should be
resolved”, stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
The Head of Government gave instructions to
the border and custom services to provide a green corridor for cargos with
equipment for the contest thereby any vehicle with equipment for the Eurovision
contest was not standing in queues at the border.
While discussing security questions during
the preparation and holding of the contest, the Prime Minister noted that
unprecedented security measures should be taken at each event.
In the meeting,
namely, were participating Vice Prime
Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko, Head of Kyiv City State Administration Vitali Klitschko, acting chairman
of the board
of the PJSC “National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine”, Hanna
Bychok, executive producer of the Eurovision-2017, deputy chairman
of the PJSC “NPBC” Pavlo Hrytsak, record producer Oleksandr Ksenofontov,
public activist Serhii Proskurnya, representatives of
the Government, the Administration of the President, the law enforcement
structures, State Border Service as well as of State Emergency
Service.
