Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman is eager to support a large scale privatization of state-owned enterprises that are not strategically important as developing proper approach it is just reducing state involvement will ensure leverage of investment and increase of economic growth. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in his communication with journalists in the framework of his visit to Zhytomyr region.

“We have 3.5 thousand state-owned companies in Ukraine. It is nonsense. The largest number of these companies are either inefficient or a source of corruption. My position is the following - those (enterprises) that are not of strategic importance should be sold through public, open and transparent auctions”, stressed the Prime Minister. Efficient and public sale of state-owned enterprises will provide an opportunity to attract investment and facilitate the economic growth. From this growth every citizen of Ukraine - from child to senior citizens who will have an opportunity to receive increased retirement payments - will benefit.”
