Government pledges readiness to support business creating added value

The Government of Ukraine expresses its readiness to support enterprises creating added value in the country as well as to pay every effort to ensure successful leverage investment in the national economy thereby introducing essential mechanisms for the development of the entire production chain. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a conversation with entrepreneurs on the ground of the enterprise Eurogold Industries Ltd in the framework of his visit to Zhytomyr region.

“What is my philosophy, my interest -I want to ensure your investment bringing profit. I would like you to enhance processing as well as to create added value in Ukraine. To this end we are ready to support you as well as to declare war against all those representatives of regulatory authorities hampering economic growth, stressed Volodymyr Groysman. We are to find an absolutely reasonable balance aimed to ensure the necessity to support a legal, transparent and public business, all other issues should be considered as not important from the point of supporting business. However we spare no effort to eradicate so-called "gray" and "black" business as it hampers our competitiveness. It is our common challenge”.

The Prime Minister accentuated that the main objective is to ensure the economic growth. With this purpose the Government has set up institutions designed to improve economic processes. In particular, the Investment Support Office was established to leverage and sustain investment, National Industry Development Committee aimed to promote cooperation between industrial enterprises and Council for Export Promotion.

“These three institutions that we have established are designed as a tool to leverage investment, restore industrial power and support of export”, underlined Volodymyr Groysman.

He added that Ukraine should develop the potential it possesses. It is crucial to support this development on the one hand and on the other to demonstrate assistance in conquering new markets. Business, diplomatic as well as trade missions should work in synergy.
