Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman along with the Business Ombudsman, Director of the Investment Support Office are planning to meet on Friday with representatives of law enforcement bodies and ponder on the ways to improve business environment in the country and overcome pressure on business on the part of security agencies.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during Dragon Capital 13th Annual Ukraine Investor Conference.
"Tomorrow
I will have a meeting, with the participation of the Business Ombudsman, Director
of the Investment Support Office, with all law enforcement structures, and I will put quite a specific
question about the activities of these institutions in the direction of the
real sector, entrepreneurs", he stressed.
"We
want to abolish the tax police, the economic services of the SSU and the Interior
Ministry and to create instead a single modern and effective financial
investigations service. Currently we are finalizing the legislation shaping,
the discussion process. The Minister of Finance has been supervising all these activities",
the PM said.
"I as the
Prime Minister and our Government will protect the real sector and responsible
business in our country. We will not allow anyone to hamper businesses
operating in the country", said Volodymyr Groysman.
