    The decision of Turkey to ban any Turkish vessel from entering the occupied Crimea is a powerful signal and a proof of comradeship between Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on the results of the meeting with Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim at a joint press point.

    "Today, on the day of the visit we received a note prohibiting any Turkish vessels to visit the occupied Crimea. This is a very powerful signal," he said.

    The Head of Ukrainian Government thanked Turkey for the strong support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and independence.

    He also emphasized the peculiar role of the Republic of Turkey in supporting Crimean Tatars.

    "Your stance in relation to Crimean Tatars is very important for us and your desire to support under such difficult conditions is the evidence of high degree of friendliness between our countries", he stressed.

    Prime Minister Binali Yildirim pledged Turkey’s support for Ukraine and its territorial integrity, as well as strong condemnation of the illegal annexation of Crimea.

    The top official of the Republic of Turkey commended the efforts of the Ukrainian Government aimed at the solution of problems of Crimean Tatar people.
