  • Finnish system is what we are striving to introduce, says Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze

    In the framework of a working visit to Finland Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze held a meeting with Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of Finland Kai Mykkänen.

    The interlocutors discussed the education reform in Ukraine in the context of the assistance of Finland in professional training of Ukrainian teachers. “The Finnish education system is exactly what we are committed to implement now, and what will help us to change the quality of schooling for our children", emphasized Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze.

    The sides touched upon possibilities to enhance cooperation in the field of energy efficiency and trade. The activities of the Government in deregulation, electronic public procurement system ProZorro as well as a 2.2 % GDP growth have become a significant impetus for the Finnish business circles interestedness in Ukrainian markets.

    In the course of the meeting with Mr. Kai Mykkänen, the Vice Prime Minister appealed to the Finnish party with a request to consider a possibility of treatment and rehabilitation of wounded Ukrainian servicemen in Finland or to increase Finnish participation in the NATO Trust Fund which is responsible for the aforesaid issues.
