The Government is completing work over the draft law on financial investigation service, which will allow the country to create an "intelligent and tolerant" single financial investigations service. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during the meeting of the Government on Friday.

"We are winding up our work over the draft law on financial investigations service", announced the Prime Minister.

The new structure will be set up similar to the National police of Ukraine - reloaded completely.

The Government intends to cancel services such as the tax police, relevant departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security Service of Ukraine dealing with economic issues, he explained.

"Elimination of these three services, and the establishment of one modern efficient service which will guide in work not with audacity, but with brain in order to protect the interests of the state and to prevent creating unnecessary problems for Ukrainian business", stressed the Prime Minister.

Entrepreneurs support this stance regarding the establishment of a single body of financial investigations, he said.

The Government is now working on finding “proper formulations”. Moreover, it pledges readiness for full interaction and cooperation with MPs to coordinate visions on the matter, said the Prime Minister.

"The task is the only one: to abolish these three [services] and to create a normal European intelligent and tolerant financial investigations service", summed up Volodymyr Groysman.
