Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin began his visit to Washington DC with laying flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko. Pavlo Klimkin paid tribute to the Great Kobzar on the eve of 203th anniversary of his birthday.

On 6 March, Minister Klimkin has had the meetings with the experts from leading think tanks in Washington DC. These meetings will precede the formal talks in the US State Department and the White House, scheduled for March 7, 2017.

Tomorrow, Ukraine’s Foreign Affairs Minister Pavlo Klimkin will participate as a witness before the Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Subcommittee of the Senate Committee on Appropriations in a hearing on "Russian policy and intentions to some European countries".
