Prime Minister of Ukraine commissioned Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan to start promptly road repairs in Ukraine
Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman instructed Minister of Infrastructure of
Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan to launch without
the delay seasonal activities to repair the destroyed road networks and construct new ones.
"Volodymyr
Volodymyrovych [Omelyan], it’s
March 1 already. I gave you a commission to prepare for the new season as soon
as possible. In fact, we have everything necessary for the start of the activities.
All we need is to organize work properly - Ukravtodor,
the Ministry [of Infrastructure] – to begin road repairs in the country,” underlined
the Prime Minister.
Volodymyr
Groysman accentuated the importance to accelerate work because melting snow
revealed holes in the roads.
The Prime
Minister announced that Ministry of Infrastructure along with leaders of the Ukravtodor are to make a report every two weeks at a
session of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine concerning what had been done to
ensure that Ukrainians are aware of our essential plan.
"Ukrainian
roads and their construction is among the priority
objectives. We will provide necessary funding. Your task is transparency and
efficiency in management of this process. This is the task for the Ukravtodor leaders as well,” emphasized the Prime Minister.
The Head of
Government commissioned the Minister of Infrastructure to submit proposals to
the Government regarding an audit of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” in 2016.
"I
would ask you to make proposals for the mechanisms of the audit of the JSC "Ukrzaliznytsya".
We will consider those [proposals] and adopt appropriate decisions,” summed up
Volodymyr Groysman.
