"I’d really want to achieve that in 2017 people could feel on their own life that a steady rise in prices stopped, that the national product is manufactured and the GDP grows. ...That means more jobs, more competitive Ukrainian goods, thereby we shall significantly strengthen the Ukrainian currency. I believe that we will be able to do everything to stabilize the situation in the country", stressed Prime Minister of Ukraine.

"I'm rather a self-critical person. I consider that we have managed to do not much. But see what we have today, so those efforts that we directed to achieve economic growth produced result. I understand that people still do not feel cardinal changes nowadays", accentuated Volodymyr Groysman.

Namely, by results of the 4 quarter of 2016, the GDP growth rate reached 4.7%, despite the forecasts of many agencies claiming it at the level of 0.5-1%.
