In 2017, the Government will offer to the Ukrainian society a decision regarding change of the pension system basing on a fairness principle and providing increased retirement payments. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced in his opening statement at a Government meeting on Wednesday.

"I consider that in 2017 we have every reason to say that the pension system will be changed, it will be fair, and retirees will feel improvement in pension payments", said Volodymyr Groysman.

The pension system in Ukraine needs fundamental change, stressed the Prime Minister.

"We will be ready to offer the Ukrainian society such solutions. There is a time for everything", said the Head of Government.
