
Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of morning, January 27, 2017
According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 63 times over the past 24 hours. Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed in action.
The Russian occupational troops used 152 mm artillery, tanks, BMP, grenade launchers and small arms against Shyrokyne, 122 mm artillery against Talakivka, mortars against Lebedynske, Krasnohorivka, Talakivka, and Vodyane, grenade launchers and small arms against Novohryhorivka, Hnutove, and Pavlopil. An enemy’s sniper targeted the Ukrainian positions near Novotroitske.
Occupants shelled Novozvanivka with Grad BM-21, 122 mm artillery, Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Novozvanivka, Vodyane, Novooleksandrivka, and Popasna with 120 and 82 mm mortars.
Militants used mortars near Avdiivka, Verkhniotoretske, Zaitseve, grenade launchers, and small arms near Novhorodske, Kamyanka, and Avdiivka.
