One of the components of the public administration reform should become the introduction of e-governance, that would contribute to improving the quality of services provided to the citizens, assures Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman.
Referring to the prospects of the public administration reform in the framework of the Medium-Term plan of Priority Actions for the Government until 2020, during a roundtable with experts, the Prime Minister expressed belief that "e-governance must be an integral part of the public administration reform and entail improved efficiency".
"I wish person could avoid contacts with officials," he stressed.
Volodymyr Groysman reminded that in 2014 there had been established the State Agency for E-Governance, however, there was not yet any "breakthrough" in e-governance.
However, incorporated in the State budget 2017 priorities will provide an opportunity to make a major step towards introduction of e-governance in the country and providing e-services to the people, the Head of Government pledges.
