    posted 12 January 2017 17:10

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kutovy will participate in the International Green Week (Grüne Woche) exhibition in Berlin (Germany), 20 - 29 January. The purpose of the visit is promotion of Ukrainian agricultural products in the world and attracting investment into the national agribusiness.

Moreover, in the panel discussions during the Grüne Woche 2017 there will take part Deputy Minister for European Integration Olha Trofimtseva.

The IWG was founded in Berlin in 1926 and is a one-of-a-kind international exhibition of the food, agriculture and gardening industries. Last year's event gathered nearly 1,700 producers from 65 countries and 415 thousand visitors.

"The Green Week is an international exhibition of food, agriculture and horticulture, where manufacturers from all over the world present their produce. The displays of the participants reveal the industries of many world countries during the Green Week. For Ukrainian producers the exhibition is primarily an opportunity to introduce visitors - representatives of different countries with domestic products, and to assess benefits and compare our products with those from other manufacturers, as well as to build contacts so that they could deliver products to international markets, primarily the EU market”, says Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

In the framework of the exhibition there also take place sales, various symposiums, seminars, forums and other events.
