  • Ukraine ready to collaborate with Croatia in the project of construction of a new LNG terminal, says Volodymyr Groysman

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman and Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković during a meeting in the frames of the first visit of the head of Croatian Government to Ukraine discussed collaboration in the energy sector.

    Volodymyr Groysman noted that Croatia has plans to build the LNG terminal and Ukraine is ready to participate in this project. The Head of Ukraine’s Government stressed that Ukraine is interested in diversification of sources of oil and gas supplies.

    "This may be a perfect opportunity to deepen our cooperation and strengthen our energy independence," said Volodymyr Groysman during his conversation with journalists following the meeting with Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković.

    According to the Head of the Ukrainian Government, for Ukraine the cooperation with Croatia in energy sector is very significant.

    "The fact that the plans of Croatia contain the construction of a new LNG terminal fully coincides with our priorities. We are willing to be partners in this project and are interested to diversify gas supplies to Ukraine. This project poses great interests for us and we would like it be successfully implemented in Croatia", emphasized Volodymyr Groysman during the opening of the Ukrainian-Croatian business forum.
