  • Ukraine and Croatia to cooperate in customs matter, the prevention of disasters and mutual protection of investments

    On the outcomes of the meeting of Prime Ministers of Croatia and Ukraine Andrej Plenković and Volodymyr Groysman there have been signed a number of bilateral international documents.

    Among them: the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on cooperation in the prevention of disasters and elimination of their consequences, the Protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on changes and amendments to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on mutual assistance in customs matters and the Additional Protocol between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on amending the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the mutual protection and promotion of investments.

    In the presence of Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Croatia, the documents were signed by Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia and Minister of Economy, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Republic of Croatia Martina Dalić from the Croatian side, and from the Ukrainian side, respectively, the Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies Mykola Chechiotkin, Chairman of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Maksym Nefiodov.

    "We have quite a considerable potential for the development of our trade relations, tourism, joint investment in the economies of our countries", said Volodymyr Groysman, commenting on the results of the meeting with the Prime Minister of Croatia in his communication with journalists.

    "I hope that today's meeting and signing of documents on cooperation and assistance in customs matters, disaster management, and on protection of investments will contribute to further enhancement of our bilateral economic agenda", said Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković.
