The SAEE and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine are planning to join and ensure a worthy presentation of Ukraine at the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 Future Energy in Astana, Kazakhstan. It was the topic of a meeting of Chairman of the SAEE Serhii Savchuk with President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Hennadii Chyzhykov on 23 December 2016.

"The exhibition is dedicated to the global and at the same time important trend for Ukraine – development of renewable energy. This will be first time after a long break when the country participates in the international exhibition arena so we should spare no effort to ensure high level presentation of Ukraine, introduce significant investment potential in energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors. Such global-level events are the best opportunity for attracting investments, concluding mutually beneficial partnership agreements," said Serhii Savchuk.

During the exhibition, Ukraine will present best legislative developments, modern equipment and materials in the field of energy efficiency and all renewable energy areas: solar, wind, hydropower, cultivation of energy crops, production of heat and electric energy from agricultural waste etc.

It should be noted that according to the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 16.11.2016, No. 917-p. the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the SAEE were determined major authorities responsible for the gearing up and participation of Ukraine in the Exhibition.

Resource administrator of the preparation and participation in the event will be the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.
