Volodymyr Groysman talk over ways to enhance partnership at all levels with Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, in the framework of the official visit to Hungary, met with Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary László Kövér.

Volodymyr Groysman noted the high level of Ukrainian-Hungarian contacts at all levels, which is important for the implementation of joint bilateral projects.

"The Ukrainian Government continues to implement in-depth reforms", the Prime Minister stressed and informed the interlocutors about recent decisions of the Government directed to ensure vital changes for the country.

The parties also touched upon the issues of national communities in the countries. In this regard, Volodymyr Groysman noted that the problems of national communities, notably of the Hungarian community in Ukraine, are the focus of attention of the Government.

"We are taking all necessary steps to ensure the rights of the Hungarian minority in Ukraine for the development of culture and education in their native language. The Government will further promote this direction of work," he assured.

The Prime Minister thanked Hungary for the support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

He also evaluated the active support of Hungary for the European integration process of Ukraine and the entry into force of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. In this context, he noted the importance of the address by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungaryto Dutch MPs and a call to approve the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union and expressed his gratitude for that.

Ukraine is counting on the assistance of Hungary in the issues of introduction of the EU visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens, accentuated Volodymyr Groysman.
