    http://www.kmu.gov.ua/img/1x1.gifIn the framework of the official visit to Hungary, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman met with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán. Among the main topics for the discussion were the issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and interaction with the European Union.

    The Head of Ukrainian Government thanked the Prime Minister of Hungary for unwavering stance and overall support for Ukraine, its territorial integrity.

    "For us the support of Hungary on our European integration path and in the introduction of a visa-free regime is very important", he stressed.

    In turn, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán assured of the support by Hungary of the sovereignty of Ukraine.

    "The sovereignty of Ukraine is considered by us the topmost issue. We have the greatest respect for it and demonstrate readiness to provide every assistance to Ukraine to ensure its sovereignty," stressed Viktor Orbán.

    He noted that after the Revolution of Dignity Ukraine had set an objective to become part of the western world. "It is approaching and taking its rightful place in the family of European peoples. I would like to be clear and declare that Hungary supports Ukraine's membership in the European Union, although this issue is not on the agenda", noted the Prime Minister of Hungary.

    "We will ascend these stairs, and we are thinking of such a Europe in which Ukraine is a full-fledged member", he stressed.

    According to him, some European countries are blocking crucial for Ukraine issues, such as the introducing a visa-free regime and the ratification of the Association Agreement.

    In this regard, he assured of the loyalty of the Visegrad Four countries that "being in Europe side with Ukraine ".

    "Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, granting them a visa-free regime is very important for Hungary. We can talk about the economic and other arguments, but we cannot question the fact that Ukraine that has faced tough challenging years but fulfilled all the commitments, so Europe must grant it the free visa regime", said Viktor Orbán.

    Volodymyr Groysman thanked for the National Assembly of Hungary urged Dutch MPs to adopt a positive decision in the issue of ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
