We are waiting for the document to be signed by the Ministry of Finance. In the next three months there will be selected other projects – in the first place, crucial for Donbas, said Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko during a meeting with Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Vazil Hudák and other representatives of the Bank.
Moreover, Hennadii Zubko told that in the framework of another joint with the EIB project Municipal Infrastructure Development the important areas of cooperation will be energy efficiency and solid waste management. "We are considering an opportunity to introduce in Ukraine a project, which was implemented in Romania and Bucharest – rehabilitation and modernization of residential areas, including not only residential houses but the surrounding infrastructure. A decentralization reform is also opening prospects for collaboration with international financial institutions. Now the work is activated in the directions such as the development strategies for each local community, budget planning and raising funds. The communities clearly define energy efficiency and waste management as priority areas for further cooperation with IFIs", said Deputy Prime Minister.
