In the framework of an official visit to Afghanistan the Ukrainian delegation led by Ukrainian Ambassador to Tajikistan and Afghanistan Viktor Nikityuk visited the national personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fulfilling tasks within NATO Resolute Support Mission.

The delegation members met with servicemen and were briefed on their tasks.

Moreover, Ambassador Viktor Nikityuk discussed the current security situation as well as contribution of the Ukrainian military to mission in Afghanistan with leadership of the NATO bases in Kabul and Herat.

The Mission leaders thanked the Ukrainian party for high professionalism and contribution of the Ukrainian servicemen to successful fulfilment of the Mission’s tasks.
