The Ukrainian science should be integrated in real sector of economy so that to ensure applying in practice of domestic solutions elaborated in different areas. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with students of Zaporizhian National University.

"Our task today is to incorporate science into the real sector to ensure introduction of the solutions elaborated in Ukraine in various spheres. We need to get them into practice", said Volodymyr Groysman.

Moreover, we should create incentives for cooperation between universities involved in scientific research. They must get direct benefits from the solutions being created on the academic platform, noted the Prime Minister.

According to him, the system of the Academy of Sciences requires major changes and reforms. So, in Ukraine there hasn’t been created an effective system of motivation and incentives, particularly for young scientists. Science has been long detached from the real economy.

The Prime Minister noted that lately he had had a meeting with scientists to discuss the problems in the scientific sphere. In November, similar meeting will be summoned for the presentation by scientists of their vision about how to change the situation with the Academy of Sciences.

"Unfortunately, brain drain, and reduced funding, and increasing ages of scientists - all those weaken our positions," he said.

The Prime Minister highlighted he was ready to support an efficient plan of modernization and support of Ukrainian science.
