PM: Government should provide favourable environment and guarantee qualitative service
The executive authorities of any level have to create a good investment climate and provide qualitative services for investors. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman at the InCo Forum Integration and Cooperation in Zaporizhia.
"The investment climate should ensure investment to be convenient, smooth, efficient and protected. And we as represented by the state should be concerned about each investment in the economy of our country be successful", declared Volodymyr Groysman.
The Head of
Government stressed that government at all levels should provide services and remove
obstacles for investors in Ukraine. "We must pay a clear attention to the
problems of investors", he noted.
In this regard,
the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of action by local authorities in
providing conditions for the investors to ensure their smooth work and make
them bring partners who would produce products and create added value in
Ukraine.
"Those
powers which we devolved in the framework of decentralization, should be used to
facilitate businesses", said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime
Minister announced that at the next Government session there would be set up the
Investment Support Office. In cooperation with local authorities, the Government
and the Parliament the Office will work "to secure whoever wants to come
and work in Ukraine do it quickly and successfully, whatever funds invested be protected".
The Head of
Government noted that an approach of non timely return of the VAT, non timely giving
permissions, artificially created obstacles is unacceptable.
"Our
task is by using support tools to provide conditions for each investor to be
successful", summed up Volodymyr Groysman.
