Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of September 14, 2016

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 56 times over the past 24 hours.

The enemy shelled the Ukrainian ATO positions in Novoselivka Druha, Avdiivka, Verkhniotoretske, Zaitseve, Novhorodske and Luhanske with grenade launchers, machineguns, and small arms. Occupants fired 120 mm and 82 mm mortars on Luhanske, Zaitseve, Svitlodarske and Pisky. Enemy’s snipers targeted the ATO positions near Avdiivka and Verkhniotoretske.

Militants used grenade launchers, machineguns, and small arms near Novozvanivka and Novooleksandrivka. Occupants also used APC armament and their sniper groups targeted the Ukrainian positions.

Occupants used APC and grenade launchers against Shyrokyne, grenade launchers and small arms against Pavlopil, Novotroitske, Shyrokyne, and Starohnativka, 120 mm mortars against Lebedynske and Berdyanske. An enemy’s sniper targeted the Ukrainian positions near Marinka.

Moreover, militants shelled Zaitseve and Avdiivka with weapons forbidden by the Minsk agreements.
