Ukraine and the United States to intensify cooperation and practical interaction along the priority issues of bilateral and international agenda

On Thursday, September 1, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman met with Ambassador of the United States of America to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, who has started her diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

The PM congratulated M. Yovanovitch on the appointment her as the Ambassador and stressed the US holds leadership in the supporting Ukraine and the international response to the Russian aggression.

Volodymyr Groysman informed about the practical measures of the Government to ensure the implementation of reforms with decentralization, creation of environment for business, deregulation, the fight against corruption, reform of the civil service being the essential ones.

Separately the parties discussed collaboration between the Ukrainian Government and the US Administration in retrofitting the Ukrainian customs, the establishment and launch of Investment Support Office under the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
