Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman advocates for
the reform of the employment sphere so that the state will not stimulate
unemployment, but supports the creating jobs in the country. This was started
be the Head of Government while a meeting with experts on the definition of
priority basis of reforming the state employment service with the aim of
stimulating the creation of new jobs.
In particular, according to the
Prime Minister, the issues of decentralization, legalization
of wages and education require the solution.
The identification of the key
challenges in reforming of the sphere of employment was a major topic of discussion.
Experts and Government
representatives discussed the main problems in this area and outlined the key
tasks in the reform. In particular they noted the necessity of complex state
policy in the sphere of employment, the identification of the responsible
coordinating body for its implementation, the improvement of the employment
service, the streamlining of social benefits for unemployment, improvement of
mechanisms of employment of individuals, including people with disabilities, as
well as bringing vocational education and higher education in line with the
needs of the labour market.
According to an expert of Jobs International
Ltd Tatyana Pashko, the labor market indicates that
the crisis has passed. "The only thing that pleases, that the crisis we
have passed, administrative jobs are in top ten [most popular jobs], back
marketing, accounting are also in top, but wages are in the previous level,"
she said.
As a result of the discussion, on
the proposal of the Prime Minister, it was agreed to create a working group to
develop proposals on the reform of the employment sphere.
