Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman
urges the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of
Ukraine (SSSCIP) and the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) to
ensure the launch of an electronic declaration system on 1 September.
“I commission
you on 1 September to run in full the E-Asset Declaration service”, said Volodymyr Groysman appealing to Chairman
of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of
Ukraine Leonid Yevdochenko during a Government
meeting on Tuesday.
The Prime
Minister warned the chairpersons of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption
Natalia Korchak and the State Service for Special
Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine Leonid Yevdochenko
of their personal responsibility for the launch of the operation of the e-service.
“Starting
now on, you have 1 week to ensure the full functioning of the E-Asset
Declaration System in Ukraine”, said Volodymyr Groysman. “There is no other date than September 1 and that’s
final!"
"If by
September 1 you fail to do that, I don't want to scare, no way, but getting
fired is the least what will happen", stressed Volodymyr
Groysman.
"Today
I will sign all orders that necessary. But, do your work", accentuated Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime
Minister called the shame the situation around the launch of the e-Declaration
service.
"A few
weeks ago, from this rostrum, the NAPC informed us: everything is ready, we
have everything we need, so we trigger the system. And then, the day before the
launch of the e-declarations this "festival" of diverse thoughts
commenced, and had led to the fact that the actual launch planned for 15 August
was sabotaged: allegedly these developed the wrong solution, those missed
something. This approach is unacceptable", urged the Prime Minister on
opening the session of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Head of
Government announced he had commissioned to inspect the actions of officials in
the context of the launch of the e-declarations system. Volodymyr
Groysman noted that the results of the investigation give
the Government the right to initiate disciplinary proceedings against the NAPC
Chairman, he said.
"My
goal today is to ensure that since September 1 you launch the E-Asset
Declaration System. I demand it, as also those who will fill the e-return. Not
to mention the fact that it implies the authority of our state, the authority of
our country, all the commitments that we assumed. We passed laws. We should
wind up with this issue, after all", summed up Volodymyr
Groysman.
