I congratulate all the fans on our first Olympic gold!

All of us are following the participation of our athletes at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The first convincing success of Oleh Verniaiev in Rio back on 11 August became a great joy for the Ukrainians, when he won a silver medal of the individual all-around competition for our country. Today, our gymnast got another medal – gold.

This is our first Olympic gold and I believe that there are new victories in store for us.

I heartily congratulate Oleh Verniaiev and wish all the Ukrainian sportsmen further success for the joy of our fans!
