Ukrainian
agrarians have threshed 31 million tons of early grain crops. The total crop was harvested in the territory of 8.1 million
hectares, or 84% of the forecast. The yield reached 38.3 hundredweight per
hectare.
As of 01.08.2016
namely:
- Wheat
have been harvested in the area of 5.2 million hectares (84%) and threshed 21.5
million tons of grain (in 2015 – 21.9 million tons) with the yields 41.3
hundredweight per hectare (in 2015 – 37.3 hundredweight per hectare)
- Barley
have been harvested in the area of 2.5 million hectares (89%) and threshed 8.5
million tons of grain (in 2015 – 7.4 million tons) with the yields 33.4
hundredweight per hectare (in 2015 – 29.4 hundredweight per hectare).
- Rye has
been harvested in the area 75 thousand hectares (52%) and threshed 196 thousand
tons of grain (in 2015 – 202 thousand tons) with the yields 26.1 hundredweight
per hectare (in 2015– 24.8 hundredweight per hectare).
- Oat has
been harvested in the area of 45 thousand hectares (21%) and threshed 112 thousand
tons of grain (in 2015– 118 thousand tons) with the yields 25.1 hundredweight
per hectare (in 2015 – 21.3 hundredweight per hectare).
- Peas has
been harvested in the area of 226 thousand hectares (95%) and threshed 714
thousand tons (in 2015– 368 thousand tons) with the yields 31.6 hundredweight
per hectare (in 2015 – 22.4 hundredweight per hectare).
- Moreover,
winter rape has been harvested in the area of 403 thousand hectares (88%) and
threshed 1.1 million tons (in 2015 – 1.6 million tons) with the yields 26.3
hundredweight per hectare (in 2015 – 25.3 hundredweight per hectare).
Odessa
region has threshed more than 3 million tons of grain,
Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhya
(each of regions) have threshed more than 2 million tons of grain.
