Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of July 26, 2016

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 61 times over the past 24 hours.

Near Talakivka, the enemy used 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars. Moreover, they shelled the Ukrainian positions near Vodyane and Krasnohorivka with 120 mm mortars. There was a fighting near Marinka ended in the enemy’s failure.

Militants shelled the ATO positions near Avdiivka with 122 mm self-propelled mounts, 120 and 82 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms. There was a fighting near Avdiivka ended in the enemy’s failure. Occupants fired 120 mm mortars on the ATO positions near Troitske, 82 mm mortars — near Opytne and Nevelske, grenade launchers — near Novhorodkse and Luhanske.

In Luhansk oblast, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian positions near Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Novozvanivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Lopaskyne with different weapons.
