Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of July 05, 2016
According
to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, over the
past 24 hours the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 63 times.
The enemy
used the 122 mm artillery forbidden by the Minsk agreements against
the Ukrainian positions near Zaitseve and Dacha, and
120 mm mortars against ATO positions near Nevelske,
Opytne, Pisky, and Kirove. Militants shelled Avdiivka
with grenade launchers and heavy machineguns.
The Russian
occupational troops fired 120 mm mortars, grenade launchers, and heavy
machineguns on the Ukrainian positions in Shyrokyne
and Talakivka. The enemy attacked Kranshorivka
with 120 mm mortars. The illegal armed formations shelled anti-tank
missile system in Hranitne, 82 mm mortars
near Hnutove.
The enemy’s
sporadic fire was near Novozvanivka.
