This year the Government will focus on stabilizing the situation in the road sector and the preparation works in order to launch large-scale construction of Ukrainian roads in spring 2017. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated this, opening a Government’s session on Friday, 24 June.

Volodymyr Groysman informed that as the results of his working visit to the United States it was reached a preliminary agreement with the World Bank about the direction of its technical mission to work out a strategy of the development of Ukrainian roads.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of carrying out the necessary preparatory work on road repairs, as well as preparation for the next season. In particular, it is necessary "not from the month of August, but now" to increase purchases of salt of good quality, create normal sand and salt mixtures, prepare snow machines and ensure logistics as well as determine cleaning standards, said the Prime Minister at the meeting.
