Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of June 03, 2016

According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation, over the past 24 hours the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 49 times.

In Donetsk direction, the enemy shelled the Ukrainian positions near Pisky and Opytne with 82 and 120 mm mortars.

The enemy used small arms, machineguns and grenade launchers, 82 and 120 mm mortars near Avdiivka.

Militants fired heavy machineguns, APC armament, and 82 mm mortars on the ATO troops near Luhanske, Zaitseve, and Troitske.

In Mariupol direction, there were 31 attacks. Near Novotroitske, militants used 120 mm, near Pavlopil — 82 mm mortars. Near Berezove and Hnutove, the illegal armed formations shelled with small arms, heavy machineguns, near Shyrokyne, Slavne and Taramchuk with automatic grenade launchers.

Near Novozvanivka, the militants shelled small arms and grenade launchers against the Ukrainian positions.
