Kyiv hosts Second Forum of Energy Efficient Partnership
On May 12, 2016, Kyiv saw an opening ceremony of the Second
Forum of the Energy Efficient Partnership, organized at the initiative of the State
Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine.
This year more than 600 participants from different regions joined together
in order to discuss extremely important issues of Ukraine’s energy
independence, the rapid development of energy efficiency and the introduction of
energy service in Ukraine as a tool for investment into thermo modernization of
buildings as well as housing.
The opening ceremony of the Forum was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine
Volodymyr Groysman, Vice
Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing
and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko,
Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving
of Ukraine Serhii Savchuk, People's Artist of
Ukraine Ruslana Lyzhychko,
Head of Support Group for Ukraine at the European Commission Peter Wagner, Heads
of international projects USAID, IFC, GIZ.
