The task of the authorities, the public sphere and the society is to facilitate the obtaining of complete energy independence of Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced this in his opening statement at the Second Forum of the Energy Efficient Partnership: investments in energy efficiency public sector and benefits for residential buildings" on Thursday, May 12.

"Our task is to become fully energy independent state. We have enough of our resources, enough of our capabilities, which will allow us to be absolutely independent, develop alternative energy, do a lot of things to replace traditional energy sources. I believe that we will do so in the medium term, "said Volodymyr Groysman.

The Prime Minister noted the lack of effectiveness of the use of available resources in Ukraine. In particular, according to him, Ukraine is six times lower than Poland in terms of energy efficiency. "This means that we have a very broad range for action," he pointed out.
