PM talked about implementation of realignment of supervising state services

On Tuesday, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman held a meeting on the implementation of a Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №442 "On optimization of the system of central executive bodies".

The meeting discussed pressing issues related to the realignment of a number of controlling state services provided by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers №442, as well as measures to be taken to complete the elimination or the creation of new bodies.

The meeting was attended by First Vice Prime Minister,Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko, Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities  of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kutovyi, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Ihor Nasalyk, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelian, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleksandr Saenko, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Ukraine Ostap Semerak, deputy Minister of Justice on the state registration Pavlo Moroz, acting Health Minister Victor Shafransky, Chairman of the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service Volodymyr Lapa, First Deputy Chairman of the State Agricultural Inspection of Ukraine Yurii Zastavnyi, Deputy Chairman of the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service Oleksandr Verzhykhovskyi, Deputy Chairman of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service Sviatoslav Protas, deputy chairman of the commission to reorganize of the State Service for Medications Irina Suvorova.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine noted that Ukraine has not yet completed the process of transformation of a number of state bodies, envisaged by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers on optimization of the system of central executive bodies, which was accepted on September 10, 2014.

Volodymyr Groysman pointed out that there are huge problems in various inspections, controlling bodies.

The meeting discussed the functioning of the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service, elimination of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects, as well as such local offices of central executive bodies in the temporarily occupied territories in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as well as Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In this context, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the Ministry of Justice to submit proposals on possible ways of solving the problem of the use of property of the territorial bodies.
