Prime Minister of Ukraine presented Minister for Social Policy Andrii Reva
On Monday, April
18, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has presented to the staff of the Ministry of
Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Andrii Reva.
"We are
going through a rather difficult time. How people can survive the challenges
which almost every Ukrainian family faces today depends on your work, the
quality of the social security system, the formation of social policy,"
said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime
Minister has noted that an essential precondition for social development is the
revival of the national economy, which will remain a priority of the new
Government. "We understand only what we can earn, we can invest in the
quality of life of every Ukrainian citizen," said the Prime Minister.
In this context,
a special role is now assigned to the Ministry - "to provide care, ensure
understanding of people, ensure proper service, minimize any queues and obstacles,"
stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
"We need to
help those who require such assistance, and to do it efficiently and
unobtrusively, on the other hand, to do everything in order to make this
assistance as effective as possible," underlined the Prime Minister.
Volodymyr Groysman has noted that the Ministry also should carry out internal
reform of the Ministry as well as reforms in social policy as a whole.
The Prime
Minister has thanked previous Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko for the work done and
informed that he will be still in charge of the Ministry of Social Policy as
well as the Health Ministry and culture issues.
The Prime
Minister has congratulated Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrii Reva on his appointment and
wished him and his staff success in working together. "I put great hopes
on your team. I am convinced that very soon the team will focus on implementing
good initiatives and new tasks facing the country," said Volodymyr Groysman.
