The meeting focused on the consultative referendum regarding the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Ukrainian and Dutch sides exchanged views on the benefits of the Agreement for both the citizens of Ukraine and the Netherlands as well as the EU member-states in the context of spreading of European values and enhancing economic interaction.

Minister Klimkin also touched upon the issue of Russian aggression against Ukraine, based on the desire of the Kremlin to stop the European development of Ukraine at all costs.
