“At the the expense of the state budget and funding from international organizations, we are planning to construct and repair a network of over 1,700 kilometres of roads”, stressed Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk in 10 Minutes with the Prime Minister programme on Sunday, March 20.
He reminded that week the Government had approved a decision to allocate over UAH 6 billion for the reconstruction and repair of roads: “It is solely the amount allotted from the state budget. Separate financing is granted by international financial institutions. The total funding for repair, reconstruction and overhaul of new roads makes up UAH 14 billion”.
The sum worth UAH 3.5 billion will be directed to the so-called running repair of main highways, while the sum worth UAH 2.5 billion - for minor repairs to ensure maintenance of roads.
