The simplified procedure of border crossing for the Ukraine’s citizens has proved efficient in the Boryspil airport and from now on will be extended to the Kyiv (Zhulyany), Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa airports.

An experiment which was launched in December of 2015 at the Boryspil airport has enabled more comfortable conditions for passengers and was positively assessed by both citizens and airport officials. Since that time, a simplified mechanism of border control has been used by over 100 thousand nationals.

Therefore, since March 4, the State Border Service of Ukraine will apply this experience to another 4 international border crossing points.

The aforesaid procedure of passport control for the citizens of Ukraine significantly simplifies crossing the border and allows to pass border processing procedure within 3-5 seconds. The result is achieved due to obtaining information about the Ukrainians who return to Ukraine in advance. During the flight time such information is processed, hence, the border guards should only carry out face control.
