The parties discussed the issues of ensuring permanent international
presence in Crimea for effective monitoring of the human rights situation in
Crimea, where an important role should be played by the Council of Europe; what
can be done additionally to release Nadiya Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov, Mykola Klykh and other
Ukrainian citizens illegally detained by Russia; providing expert assistance by
the Council of Europe in implementing reforms in Ukraine, first of all in
reforming judicial system.
