"I have submitted the plan and expect proposals to be included into this plan from other coalition partners. I hope that the President would provide his vision of what needs to be done every month. What law needs to be adopted, what resolution should be approved. And most importantly – what will change in people's lives", said Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on Friday, 19 February, in an interview with Ukrainian TV channels.
The Prime Minister told that the previous day he had met with the members of the Cabinet of Ministers and suggested to make specific changes in the work of the Government. "We should cardinally change our work. We summon dozens of meetings, we sign hundreds of papers, we make the Parliament vote dozens of laws through the debates, through political confrontation. But we have to think completely different," he said.
"Let's think about how lives of people change as a result of our decisions. That is, the work of the Government and the parliamentary coalition should be focused neither on the quantity of laws, nor the quantity of orders and decisions, but on real change in the lives of every citizen it entails. Here's my plan," said the Prime Minister.
